Roy Bachman, Director of Plant Operations Roy has over 11 years experience in the healthcare industry, including 10 years as the Director of Plant Operations/Safety in a rehabilitation setting involving both local start-up and established nation-wide organizations. His past work experience includes employment in the brick masonry industry, welding and roofing. Education involves a certification in electronics with basics from Texas Tech University.
Rebbecca Lanman, PT, Director of Therapy Operations Rebecca has over 13 years of physical therapy experience in neuro rehab, wound care, acute care, and inpatient orthopedics. She holds a Master of Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Rebecca joined the Ernest Health system in 2008 and in 2012 led the program development at Mesquite Rehabilitation for Stroke Certification.
Brian Abraham, DPT, Chief Executive Officer Brian has 19 years of healthcare experience and management expertise in various rehabilitation settings including outpatient orthopedics, inpatient rehabilitation, acute care, skilled nursing and home health. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Care Sciences from UTMB-Galveston, a Master of Physical Therapy degree from UT-El Paso and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Boston University.
Wm Russell Blaylock, OTD, Director of Therapy Operations Russell has over 28 years of healthcare experience including outpatient orthopedics, Spinal and Inpatient rehabilitation, Psychiatry, Acute Care, and Leadership roles. He has developed functional return-to-work programs. He holds a Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University, and a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy with an emphasis on Practice Management and Administration from Rocky Mountain University of Health Professions.
Michael Ridgeway, RN, Director of Marketing and Business Development Michael has fourteen years of clinical service as a registered nurse. Six of the fourteen years in management as a Shift Supervisor, Unit Manager, and House Supervisor. His specialties include; Critical Care Cardiovascular Unit, Intensive Care Unit, Step Down Unit, Ortho/Trauma, Telemetry, and Medical Surgical Unit, and was part of a hurricane Katrina Relief Team. He holds his license from Lamar University with a compact license for Texas and Louisiana.
Irene Lopez, Human Resources Manager Irene has 12 years of human resource experience in various industries, including healthcare. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Stephen F, Austin State University, and a Master of Business Administration in Human Resource Management from Amberton University. Irene received her Professional certification in Human Resources in 2004.
Theronica Bond, MD, Medical Director Dr. Bond is a graduate of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas Texas. She completed her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Parkland Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Bond’s primary interests are inpatient rehabilitation, Electro-diagnostic Studies, Joint Injections, Trigger Point Injections, and Baclofen Pump Refills. She is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, the American Medical Association, National Medical Association, Texas Medical Association and the Dallas County Medical Society.
Mateen Shah, RPh, Director of Pharmacy Services Mateen has over thirty years experience in developing and implementing clinical programs to improve outcomes, through education of medical staff, nurses and pharmacists. The experience encompasses acute care hospitals, LTACHs and Rehab hospitals. Mateen has a Bachelors in Biology from Karachi University, Pakistan and also a Bachelors in Pharmacy from Xavier University, New Orleans.
Cindy Martinez, RN , Director of Nursing Cindy has 22 years experience as a Registered Nurse, with 18 years in Acute Rehabilitation with an emphasis on Spinal Cord Injury patients. The previous 4 years of experience are in a Medical-Surgical setting. Cindy has spent most of her life in the Dallas, Texas area.
